Looking for a beautiful, mountain-top cabin with an approximate 7 minute atv ride to the Ivy Branch Trail Head (opening Fall 2020) ) which includes a new cartop boat launch & fishing on the Little Coal River, 18 miles to the capital city (Charleston) and 12 miles to Southridge Shopping Center? Look no further!
Nestled on a private road on top of the mountain, The Farm offers 75 acres of the mountain to enjoy, outdoor fire pit with 2 picnic tables, indoor woodburning stone fireplace, full bathroom, kitchen with city water, heat/ air conditioning and loft bedroom with 1 queen and 2 full beds. Plenty of parking for utilities trailers.
The Ivy Branch Trail Head is the most northern trail system of the Hatfield McCoy Trails and is the first system you reach traveling through Charleston. The Farm is a 7 minute ride on atvs to the trail head so there is no need to trailer your atv! The Farm is 7 miles from the Hatfield McCoy Welcome Center as well as Water Ways Park - a family-friendly water park. The Farm is 12 miles from Southridge Shopping Center which offers a variety of restaurants, shops & entertainment including Cabala's, Hobby Lobby, Wal-Mart, Dick's, Best Buy, Sky Zone trampoline park, Marquee Cinemas, Southridge Golf Range, South Charleston Memorial Ice Arena, T-Rex Science Center and more!
The Farm is approx. an hour from The Rockhouse Trail System in Man, WV.
Seclusion with convenience! New Yurt in place and available for rent mid October Either with the cabin or separately. Approx. 65 yards from cabin.
4-wheel drive vehicles recommended but not required.
Camping spots are available as an Add-On at check-out on booking process. Prices per night per spot, including car camping.
Hunting, with prior arrangement with Elevation Vacation Rentals is available for $35/day.
Specific hunting privileges available with proper licenses. Prior arrangements and fees required. Bow hunting only.There is no camping, RVs or any additional guests permitted on the property without prior agreement from Elevation Vacation Rentals. Hunting is not allowed without a prior agreement from Elevation Vacation Rentals. Violation of this agreement will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of all money paid.

The coordinates are 38°14'00.3"N 81°52'32.6"W. Google Maps brings up the correct location with the coordinates but the picture it has is not correct.
From Charleston, Take Corridor G south to Alum Creek. (Exit at the Hamlin/ Yawkey/ 214S/ Midway Rd exit) There will be a stop light on the corridor at the exit)

You will pass Cobbs Creek Baptist Church on your right. Take the next Slight left onto Cobb Creek Rd.
Go .5 mile on Cobbs Creek Road and take your second RIGHT up a dirt/gravel road. This is Green Bay Drive. (it is not marked well). Go up the hill and stay left all the way to the top. You will see the large barn on your right and the cabin on your left.
