Windfall Lodge is much larger than it appears. This beautiful 6-bed, 5-bath log cabin is stunning with its luxurious decor and breathtaking woodwork. It boasts 2 king master suites on the main level with 5 of the bedrooms offering ensuite bathrooms.  

Nestled on 2 private acres, Windfall Lodge is beautifully situated in the hills of the Appalachian Mountains with easy access, which you will enjoy from your large private porch and brand new (July 2022) private hot tub.

Plenty of off-street parking, 7 large flat screen TV's (3 of them smart TV's), separate game room with bar area, pool table, foosball table, free upgraded WIFI and cell service, ceiling fans, fireplace, washer and two dryers, and a fully equipped kitchen offer everything your group may need.

Perfect for larger parties, Windfall Lodge comfortably sleeps 15 guests (in beds) with multiple gathering areas. The master bedroom and bath are located on the first floor, making Windfall Lodge suitable for all ages.

Sunset Mountain Village is just a short 10-minute drive from the Snowshoe Mountain entrance at the base of the mountain and Raven Golf Course where you can enjoy the amenities, restaurants and activities of Snowshoe.

In addition to Snowshoe Mountain Resort, Windfall Lodge is just minutes away from the Highland Scenic Highway, and 30 minutes to Marlinton and Cass – both have access to The Greenbrier River Trail. 2432 Summit Pass is less than one hour to Watoga State Park, Green Bank Observatory/Telescope, Cranberry Glades, Kumbrabow State Park and much more!

Snowshoe Mountain Resort has been called the Island in the Sky. While the Resort offers the amenities, comforts and entertainment you’d expect from a top-rated resort, its location is 4848 feet high in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia! Although Windfall Lodge has cell service, there is no cell service within an hour from Snowshoe and WIFI in the Village is often weak. Please ensure you have directions and any contact numbers prior to traveling.
